People come in all shapes and sizes, but one thing unites us: we all struggle with who we are.
I support people during times of change and transition to accept themselves as they are. It is only by accepting ourselves as we are that we can embrace and accept all the curves life throws at us.
And when we can do that, we can bring about changes to live the lives we imagine for ourselves.
Angela Dawn MacKay is many things: a clinical psychologist, a fantasy writer, and a Celtic artist; a Tibetan Buddhist, an Ashtanga yogi, and a vegetarian cyclist, but it is her enthusiasm for her work that makes her stand out the most.
Angela is currently submitting her young adult fantasy manuscript to American and Canadian agents and publishers for publication. She resides with her husband and son with their dog and two cats in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
There is an old saying, "Never give a sword to a person who can't dance". This wisdom speaks directly to minds that are stuck and cannot move rhythmically but are bound to fear, anxiety and neglect. When minds become inflexible, we are disenfranchised from our authentic, intuitive self, causing suffering and pain. With authenticity comes creativity and with creativity, we discover our life. My endeavor is to help individuals who feel stuck, lost and/or confused and have trouble getting on track to that authentic life. I have had the rare opportunity to be trained for over 40 years in both spiritual and life skills taught from cultures around the world and employ various integrative therapies and spiritual practices to bring power and centeredness to your life.
