The voice is an embodied instrument through which one can reveal, and learn, much about themselves. In this session, you will be given a brief, holistic overview of the voice. You will also be shown a few ways that you can use your voice to more comfortably embrace your authentic self.

Christina lives in Sydney Australia. She has been studying and practicing the art of meditation and healing since 2000. She travelled the world to understand and study the various belief systems, religions and to learn ways to heal the body. Christina spent time studying with Indigenous teachers, healers and shamans from Latin America, North America and Australia. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and board-certified music therapist (MT-BC) working in private practice in Colorado. My passion is helping people enhance their health and well-being through musical expression. Central to my work is an understanding of the power of music, embodied presence, and creating personal and transpersonal meaning. As a therapist, I work with adults in the areas of aging, grief and loss, and life transitions. I also work with children and teens who are struggling with anxiety and personal identity. Besides my therapy work, I also provide individual music instruction to children, teens, and adults, as well as early childhood family music and movement classes. An experienced presenter and performer, I have presented to diverse audiences worldwide. Presentation topics include music and mindfulness, voicework, and music therapy in end-of-life care.
